Ofgem announces revisions to the price cap on energy supplies.

Energy price cap

The energy regulator Ofgem announced revisions to the price cap on energy supplies at 11:00am on 3 February 2022.

It details a 54% increase on the maximum that can be charged to consumers for their energy, effective from 1 April 2022.

This will result in an average increase of around £700 for each GB household.

We understand that this will place an enormous strain on households across the country. For help and support, please contact your supplier in the first instance.
