Summary
The above Modifications will place obligations on the CDSP to provide data to the Gas Shipper Obligation (GSO) Administrator to support the implementation and delivery of the Gas Shipper Obligation scheme.
To support a period of live data testing, we expect this data provision to begin in January 2027, prior to the implementation of GSO legislation. A subsequent Modification is expected in early 2027 to make these obligations enduring.
The Gas Shipper Obligation (GSO) is intended to be the long-term funding mechanism for initial hydrogen production projects under the Hydrogen Production Business Model (HPBM).
