Summary
We require funding to procure a suitable 3rd party to undertake this activity for BP26.
It was against BP25 that this assurance first took place; this highlighted certain scenarios (such as spend against drawdown budgets) that compliance is not possible at business planning stage. This request will also enable a 3rd party to assure satisfaction against delivery of BP25 where it was not possible at Business Planning stage.
UNC modification 0841 brings new rules pertaining to the Business Plan process and content. One new requirement is for a sufficiently independent 3rd Party to undertake assurance that determines the degree to which each Business Plan Information Rule (BPIR) has been satisfied.
